We just got back from a great weekend in Hood River for our friends Shannon and Andrew. Neither Eric or I have really spent much time in Oregon, so it was really fun exploring Portland (we even enjoyed part of their Rose Parade) and the surrounding area. A highlight of the weekend was the Rose Garden (as we are now really interested in roses). It was great to have a romantic get away and get time to spend some friends, especially TJ and Darcy and getting to see their amazing new houseboat.
